Young Troubodour
May your sorrow be thoughtful, your emptiness deep
Keep a close watch on sadness, stand tall as you weep
don’t give in to anger, give out your peace
as you honor your young troubodour
Bow your heads in regard to the heartbroken ones
who have taken to darkness and hide from the sun
he left them too early with so much undone
let them honor their young troubodour
Greiving has entered our home on this day
heavy, our hearts hanging low
asking why life ebbs and flows on this way
praying that someday, we’ll know
And when you’re in darkness
alone in your night
and you breath in the echos of memories flight
there may be a stirring of rose colored light
an embracing from the young troubodour
